About The Position

We're looking for a talented and highly creative Motion Designer to join our team. If you're passionate about social media, master the visual language of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube, and can transform raw creator/influencer content into magnetic, high-converting video pieces, this role is for you! Clever Advertising is a multinational digital brand serving the iGaming industry for the last 15 years with innovative advertising and technology solutions. Our brand-new office in Gzira, Malta – a vibrant iGaming hub that’s as inspiring as it is sunny!

Requirements

• Strong portfolio/showreel featuring projects that demonstrate solid motion design skills applied to social media or advertising.
• Prior experience at digital marketing agencies or e-commerce brands.
• Digital-native mindset, with a deep understanding of what works visually on social media.
• Sharp eye for composition and pacing, kinetic typography, and sound design for video.
• Creativity and proactivity, with the ability to take a simple brief and turn it into a visually impactful creative.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects (animation, expressions, keyframing, tracking, and effects).
• Proficiency with generative AI tools for video and image, with hands-on experience integrating workflows with tools like Google Veo, Seedance, Kling, Nano-Banana, etc., for creative acceleration, scene extension, and concept art.
• Proficiency in 2D design tools (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) to prepare or adjust assets.
• Strong creative vision and the ability to translate ideas into compelling designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create dynamic video ads and content (especially vertical formats) for Influencer Marketing and Paid Social campaigns (Meta Ads, Social Media Ads, etc.).
• Elevate raw influencer footage through advanced motion design techniques, graphics, smooth transitions, and visual effects.
• Integrate generative AI tools into the workflow to accelerate asset creation, extend scenes, generate creative variations at scale, and optimize turnaround times.
• Handle integrated visual compositing, ensuring graphic elements blend seamlessly with live-action footage.
• Take part in brainstorming sessions with the creative team to develop innovative visual concepts that grab user attention in the first 3 seconds (scroll-stoppers).
• Adapt and optimize formats for different social media platforms, following each platform's best practices and trends.
