About The Position

Team Red Dog is hiring a Motion Designer for our client, a global technology leader and AI-driven technology organization. In this highly visible role, you'll create compelling motion graphics, video content, and animations that enhance Microsoft 365 experiences used by millions of customers worldwide. You'll collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to transform product stories into polished visual content while applying advanced motion design, video editing, storytelling, and production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to combine creative excellence with AI-powered innovation, shaping customer-facing experiences across Copilot, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art/Fine Art, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or digital production.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience creating motion graphics and video assets for marketing, social media, customer-facing, or digital product experiences.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, visual storytelling, and polished production work.
  • Excellent understanding of animation, typography, pacing, composition, visual hierarchy, and branding.
  • Experience managing production workflows including file organization, version control, and project tracking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications including Copilot, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in structured production environments with formal review cycles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for video content is a plus.
  • Experience supporting technology, SaaS, enterprise software, or productivity products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, video edits, and visual treatments for customer-facing, marketing, and social media experiences.
  • Transform product narratives, raw assets, and concepts into polished motion design deliverables.
  • Edit video content including screen captures, product demos, animations, and marketing assets into engaging final productions.
  • Apply transitions, typography, motion effects, color correction, audio synchronization, and visual enhancements.
  • Prepare deliverables optimized for multiple channels, formats, and aspect ratios.
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and visual design quality expectations.
  • Manage production workflows including asset organization, file naming, version control, milestone tracking, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, risks, and blockers proactively with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with design, product, marketing, and business partners to refine creative solutions.
  • Contribute creative recommendations that improve storytelling, customer engagement, and product communication.
