About The Position

Mosquito Control Technician Job Description: Trained expert who provides a remarkable client experience. Travel to each client's home or business. Survey each property. Treat standing water with larvicide. Apply a barrier treatment to the surrounding landscaping using a backpack sprayer. Participate in marketing initiatives. Technician opportunity is full time and runs year-round. Scheduling is flexible depending on your availability. An occasional weekend or late evening could be possible during the main season (April - Oct). Position will begin starting Now. Based in Grand Rapids, MI & service surrounding territories such as Rockford, Ada, EGR, Lowell, Caledonia, Byron Center & more.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old
Have a valid driver's license
Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
Be comfortable driving throughout the workday
Enjoy working outdoors
Be energetic, hardworking & reliable
Possess excellent communication & customer service skills
Excel in a position of independence & responsibility
Current State of Michigan Applicators License REQUIRED (If you do not have your applicators license, we can license the right candidate)
