About The Position
Pointe Pest Control is seeking a Mosquito Pest Control Technician to provide pest remediation and prevention solutions to commercial or residential structures. This is a full-time, seasonal position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, and some Saturdays required. The role involves managing a mosquito control route, conducting yard treatments, recommending services, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mosquito pest control experience preferred.
- Strong Communication skills effectively through verbal, written and in person.
- Strong customer service and in-person presentation skills.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and be able to kneel and bend as necessary for a job.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
- Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Pest Control experience or Pest Control License
Nice To Haves
- Licensed mosquito technicians with the Illinois Department of Agriculture
Responsibilities
- Manage a mosquito control route day to day operations.
- Conduct thorough yard treatments for Mosquito control.
- Recommend and provide estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
- Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with all applicable Company policies and local rules and regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs.
- Use all safety equipment as instructed.
- Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order including but not limited to vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature etc.
- Devote your full attention and time, during working hours, to the performance of your duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor and the Company.
