Do you know how to build relationships, drive production, and develop other originators into top performers? At Traditions Mortgage, a division of ACNB, we’re looking for a Mortgage Sales Team Lead to own a market, grow a team, and deliver results across Maryland. This is not a “sit behind the desk” leadership role. You’ll lead from the front—producing your own business while building and coaching a team to hit—and exceed—performance goals. Requirements

  • 5+ years of mortgage lending experience with a strong personal production history
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, with proven ability to coach and develop others
  • Demonstrated success in building referral networks and generating consistent loan volume
  • Deep knowledge of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong sales leadership mindset—comfortable setting expectations, holding accountability, and driving results
  • Ability to balance personal production with team leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mortgage Loan Officers to achieve production goals
  • Originate residential mortgage loans, managing the full lifecycle from application to closing
  • Set clear expectations and performance metrics aligned with annual sales objectives
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new MLOs to grow your team strategically
  • Monitor pipeline activity, coach for improvement, and address performance gaps
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and a strong customer experience
  • Maintain compliance with all mortgage regulations and internal policies
  • Actively participate in community and business development activities to expand brand presence
