About The Position

Serves a multi-skilled role involving assisting Mortgage Loan Officers. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Empire Administrative office in St. Paul, MN.

Requirements

Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years similar or related financial experience.
Required to obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) qualifier (i.e. NMLS).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer skills including Microsoft products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to proactively respond to members/employees to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Hmong and or Karen preferred.
Knowledge of Encompass a plus.

Responsibilities

Assign all incoming mortgage applications daily.
Follow-up on pre-approval pipeline for Loan Officers on a weekly basis.
Manage Mortgage Loan Officer’s prospect, pending and pre-purchase folders daily.
Assist Mortgage Loan Officer with purchase agreement review.
Manage Mortgage Sales referrals and assign to appropriate employee.
Manage the incoming and outgoing daily mail for Loan Officers.
Scan and upload incoming docs from members to Encompass.
Manage all incoming faxes and emails for Mortgage Sales.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
