About The Position
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of the mortgage department by assisting with operations, compliance, loan processing, documentation management, pipeline monitoring, borrower communication, and operational workflow coordination. This role works closely with all aspects of the Mortgage Department, compliance, and other bank departments to ensure loans move efficiently through the origination process while maintaining compliance and service standards.
Requirements
- Two years’ experience working with loan documents required.
- Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment.
- Laser Pro and Calyx Point system knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist manager with daily mortgage operations support duties.
- Obtains a strong working knowledge of all bank and investor products, and mortgage regulations.
- Review loan applications for errors and omissions.
- Responsible for preparing timely, accurate and compliant required preliminary disclosures and closing documents for both portfolio and secondary market loans.
- Performs other administrative and mortgage operations support duties as assigned by the manager
