About The Position

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist II is responsible for handling internal and external customer inquiries, processing monetary transactions in accordance with Bank and regulatory requirements, credit bureau reporting, Special Asset loan servicing, and other portfolio monitoring for the Mortgage loan portfolio. This role also involves advanced loan transactions and system maintenance.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or related Loan Operations experience
• High level knowledge of investor servicing parameters and reporting regulations
• Knowledge of bank compliance and regulatory requirements
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to incorporating changes in processes and procedures with focus on improving customer service and process efficiency
• Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressures
• Ability to demonstrate effective problem resolution by making effective recommendations and implementing appropriate action
• Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions
• Ability to adapt to and accept changes in process requirements
• Requires High School diploma; higher education preferred
• 5-7 years Mortgage operations and/or investor servicing experience required
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate response to internal requests/inquires via service cases
• High level interaction with Investors for servicing, reporting and research
• Tracking of internal errors and resolution where needed
• Core system file maintenance
• Research and resolve internal and external client requests
• Daily report monitoring
• Balancing internal General Ledgers
• Review and resolution of Non-Post Report
• Assist other areas and special projects as needed
• Special Asset loan maintenance
• Collaboration with front line partners on issue resolution
