About The Position
The Loan Servicing Specialist II will be responsible for the post closing review of commercial loans including Commercial and Commercial Real Estate loans ranging from small business to large complex commercial loans including participation, syndications, construction, practice, agricultural, aircraft, energy, bonds, capital markets and other specialty lending.
Requirements
- 3 years of loan experience consumer or commercial
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong analytical skills
- Inquisitive by nature
- Strong attention to Detail
- Ability to read and comprehend complex loan approval
- Ability to read and comprehend Bank’s Loan Policy
- Knowledge of loan documentation and loan structure
Nice To Haves
- 5 years of loan experience consumer or commercial
- Familiar with various types of insurance
- Familiar with cash collateral and Asset Based
- Understanding of Syndication and Participation deals
- Knowledge of Bonds
- Demonstrated visual comparison skills
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive review of loan documentation for accuracy and completeness including internally prepared documents and attorney documents
- Determine loan documents conformance with approval, regulation, established policies and procedures
- Must be able to interpret business organization documents
- Independently identify exceptions during the review process and load to exception system
- Ability to research and resolve exceptions with the goal to remove exception
- Management of Bank’s collateral in vendor platform
- Handle inquiries from internal business partners
- Act as a resource sharing knowledge and expertise with members of the dept
- Communicate with loan officers, internal business partners, third parties, etc.
- Track receipt of incoming original documents
