About The Position

The Art Wood Mortgage Team is seeking a detail-oriented, highly proactive Mortgage Loan Production Partner located in the Metro Atlanta area. This role combines operational mortgage support with strategic business growth initiative. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth loan processing from origination through closing, while actively building and nurturing referral relationships to expand our market presence across Georgia.

Requirements

• Prior Mortgage Industry Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in mortgage processing, origination, or loan officer support is required.
• Must reside in the Metro Atlanta area to accommodate a hybrid work schedule (split between home office, local team meetings, and in-person networking events).
• Strong working knowledge of standard mortgage software (Encompass, or similar POS/LOS) and CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with residential loan products (FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA) and Georgia lending guidelines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Strong organizational ability with keen attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan originators with document collection, application intake, file pre-underwriting, and loan setup.
• Track pipeline progress and collaborate with underwriters, processors, title companies, and real estate agents to ensure on-time closings.
• Maintain clear, continuous communication with clients throughout the loan lifecycle to provide a seamless customer experience.
• Manage CRM databases, lead status updates, and administrative workflow systems.
• Develop and execute strategies to cultivate relationships with local realtors, financial planners, homebuilders, and professional networks in Metro Atlanta.
• Coordinate local networking events, lunch-and-learns, and client appreciation campaigns.
• Assist in managing digital marketing materials, social media engagement, and email co-marketing efforts targeted at homebuyer lead generation.
• Represent the team at community and industry networking events across Georgia.
