About The Position

Bravera is hiring for a Mortgage Loan Processor. Bravera is an employee- and director-owned company that is committed to helping our employees forge a new path in their career. This position is responsible for assisting the Mortgage Banking Officer in collection of data for underwriting and preparing closing packages.

Requirements

  • High school diplomas or equivalent with a two-year associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years banking experience or previous administrative experience; OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Organization and communication skills are required

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  • Provide support to Mortgage Banking Officers by: Requesting Verifications of Employment, Verifications of Rent, Verifications of Deposit, if required. Ordering required documentation tor credit and file approval. Prepare files to send to Credit Underwriting. Preparation of documentation for closing. Maintain contact with vendors, insurance agents, and realtors, if requested by your Loan Officer throughout the home loan process. Assist in any way towards the successful closing of a home loan.
  • Should be familiar with the Bravera Mortgage Banking Loan Policy, General Loan Policy, Compliance Policy and Appraisal Policy. Additionally, must possess an understanding of all procedures and recommend enhancements, as needed.
  • Learn and gain proficiency in all software applications and participate in ongoing training.
  • Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
