What You’ll Do As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will: Originate, acquire, and market high-quality residential loans. Have access to competitive products like our one-time close conventional and VA construction loans and in-house portfolio options that make complex deals possible. Build and grow a strong network of referral partners, including Realtors, builders, financial planners, and local professionals. Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to generate new mortgage business, Deliver exceptional member service with in-depth knowledge of lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements. Structure loans to meet both member needs and all federal and state guidelines. Cross-sell additional credit union products and services to support members' full financial health. Analyze all required loan documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator with proven external sales experience.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain high-quality referral networks.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Solid understanding of agency and investor guidelines,
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.

  • A college degree is preferred but not required.
