About The Position

Meridian Trust is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Officer to join their team. This role is responsible for driving the loan process from application to closing with accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist members in achieving their home ownership dreams by providing working knowledge of mortgage loan policies, credit granting criteria, and interest rates. The position requires the ability to discuss loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in a clear and positive manner. Additionally, the role involves guiding members who may not initially qualify, offering constructive advice on how to achieve their goals in the future. This is an in-person position located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with compensation including base hourly pay plus incentives.

Requirements

Previous mortgage lending experience required.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to ensure loan details are correct and within compliance.
