This opportunity is for a Mortgage Loan Originator who wants production and purpose, a rare combination. The role involves moving deals and moving lives by serving the whole community, not just the easy file. The structure enables serving bilingual and underserved borrowers with products and mission alignment that national mortgage brands cannot match. Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience originating mortgage loans
- Minimum of HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Thorough understanding of mortgage lending fundamentals and regulations
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate lending related topics clearly and succinctly to others
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar and comfortable with information technology, particularly digital means of communication
- Strong organizational skills in managing multiple initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- Ability to keep and maintain pass requirements for SAFE ACT
- Current registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) or ability to become registered upon employment
