About The Position
Mortgage Field Service Contractors are responsible for documenting the occupancy and physical condition of mortgaged properties. This involves visiting properties to determine if they are occupied or vacant, rating the property's condition as Good, Fair, or Poor, taking photos using a smartphone, and completing a report via a mobile app. This role is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, such as those in the gig economy (Uber, Lyft, Door Dash, etc.), who can efficiently complete multiple inspections per hour. Rural areas may offer higher average pay per inspection.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
- Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
- Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor.
- Take photos of the property using a smart cell phone.
- Fill out a form on a cell phone using a downloadable app.
- Answer multiple choice questions about the property condition.
