About The Position

The Mortgage Closing & Servicing Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality of mortgage loan files for both first mortgage and home equity loans, ensuring the accuracy of the HMDA database, and performing other loan servicing related duties. This position provides support to promote quality service, efficient processes and procedures, and a quality loan portfolio. The role ensures a quality mortgage loan portfolio through effective post-closing procedures, quality control, and efficient monitoring and documentation procedures. Responsibilities include following up on outstanding post-closing items from attorneys on first mortgage loans and HELOCs, ensuring title and insurance documents are accurate and complete for first mortgages and HELOCs, completing boarding forms and check processing for all in-house first mortgage closings, and accurately completing the new loan interface spreadsheet for submission to the third-party subservicing company. This role also involves backing up the creation and sending of proper loan disclosure documentation on new loan applications within regulatory time requirements, maintaining knowledge of and compliance with BSA regulations and internal policies, and coordinating with the 3rd party mortgage servicer on servicing-related items. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
