About The Position

MIX 106.5 BALTIMORE MORNING CO-HOST Jess Dutra is leaving Baltimore and returning to the West Coast to be closer to family. So we’re looking for someone to join The Kramer Show to continue building our on-air and social media dominance. This role requires a natural content creator who understands how to drive ratings, views, and engagement, is comfortable being an open book and sharing everything about their life, and actively brings content ideas every day. The ideal candidate spends a lot of time on IG, TikTok, FB, and YouTube; and can create, edit, and post content effortlessly. They will join a dominant morning show where they can learn, grow, and flourish, thrive on embracing listeners and creating a deep relationship with the audience, and are ready to make a life in the Baltimore area and central Maryland. This role is part of a top-ranked show that heavily focuses on social media and generates 10+ million views every month. Applicants are asked to submit their audio, social handles, social content, and any other materials that show they are the person for this role.

Requirements

On-air experience
Experience in media or entertainment
Excellent communicator with strong creative skills
Knowledge of the formats and audience
A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

Nice To Haves

Should possess understanding of FCC policies
Strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment for on-air and production execution.

Programming and imaging skills a plus

Responsibilities

Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
Protect the station’s FCC license
Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
Operate the control board and perform production work
Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
Other duties as required by management
