About The Position
WLUK/WCWF is looking for a reporter for our morning show. We want someone who has the energy and creativity to do compelling live shots. This person will report live two weekday mornings and two weekend mornings each week with one day of general assignment dayside reporting.
Requirements
- Previous reporting experience is required
- Previous experience working in a team environment is a must
- Experience as a TV News reporter at a network-affiliated TV station newsroom is preferred for consideration
- Must be a strong writer
- Sharp wit
- The ability to work well with others
- A self-starter
- Exemplary communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Considerable live shot experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Report live two weekday mornings and two weekend mornings each week
- One day of general assignment dayside reporting
- Generate his or her own story ideas on a daily basis
- Demonstrate enterprise reporting and creativity in storytelling
