About The Position
The Clover and the Bee is looking for a dependable cook to join our morning and daytime kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, staying busy, and finishing work earlier in the day. We open early with fresh-baked pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and a creative seasonal breakfast menu. During lunch, our kitchen serves sandwiches, house-made soups, fresh salads, and other thoughtfully prepared dishes.
Requirements
- Dependability and punctuality are essential
- Ability to report for shifts beginning as early as 6:00 AM
- Some weekend availability is required
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items
- Set up and stock your station for service
- Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards
- Complete daily prep work efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Communicate and work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other kitchen duties as needed
