About The Position
Join the Journey of Hope Fuel recovery with fresh, reliable meals. As a Cook, you prepare patient‑centered menus that meet nutritional and cultural needs —bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours.
Requirements
- 2+ years cooking experience (healthcare preferred).
- ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
- Consistency, speed, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot/cold items to standardized recipes and diet orders.
- Maintain food safety, temperature logs, and allergen controls.
- Coordinate with Dietary Aides to ensure accurate tray assembly and delivery.
- Keep a clean, safe kitchen; support inventory and ordering.
- Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
- Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
