About The Position

The Morning Cook prepares and cooks breakfast items with consistency and care using standardized recipes. This role supports breakfast setup, line prep, and kitchen opening/closing duties. The cook follows food safety guidelines, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and operates and maintains kitchen equipment and dishwashing stations. Additionally, the cook ensures food is prepped for the following day and assists with inventory rotation.

Requirements

  • Prior culinary or food service experience (6 months preferred)
  • Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand, bend, and move throughout your shift
  • A positive, team-first attitude with flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary certification is a plus
