About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role focuses on early-morning production and preparation to support daily operations and upcoming events. Schedules are primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities based on business needs. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, starting their day early, and being a key part of a high-performing kitchen team.
Requirements
- Must have proper documentation to work in the US
- Must have your Illinois Food Handlers Certification
Nice To Haves
- Kitchen or prep experience is helpful, but not required for the right candidate.
- English is not required for this position
Responsibilities
- Execute daily prep lists efficiently and accurately
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, proteins, and components for events and production
- Follow recipes and kitchen standards with consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Assist with receiving, storage, and inventory as needed
- Support chefs and kitchen leadership in meeting production timelines
