About The Position
Toddler Assistant Teacher – 2 to 3 Years Are you passionate about working with toddlers in a nurturing, Montessori environment? Join our team at Peak Avenue Montessori in Morgan Hill! Our beautiful school is designed to support each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and emotional growth. At Peak Ave, we believe in creating a loving and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Our fully implemented Montessori programs foster independence, creativity, and strong social connections, helping children develop confidence and a deep love for learning. Our Toddler (Pre Primary Community) supports 12 children with 2 teachers. Our teaching team consists of a full time Lead Teacher and 1 Assistant Teacher.
Requirements
- Experience or a strong desire to work with toddlers
- Eagerness to learn and grow as educators
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, supportive team
- Interest in exploring Montessori education and philosophy
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a nurturing, Montessori environment for toddlers.
- Support each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and emotional growth.
- Help create a loving and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.
- Foster independence, creativity, and strong social connections through Montessori programs.
- Engage children in hands-on learning experiences like gardening, cooking, art, and STEM activities.
