Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required)
  • Montessori Certified (required)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years leading a Montessori based classroom in a Lead Teacher capacity
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Outstanding organizational and classroom management abilities
  • Passion for mentoring and developing other educators
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced blended classroom environment

Responsibilities

  • Leading an engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
  • Mentoring, training, and coaching Teachers, Co-Teachers, and Teachers in Training.
  • Partnering with the training team to ensure curriculum quality and consistency across classrooms.
  • Creating hands-on learning experiences that foster literacy, math, creativity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
  • Conducting student assessments and maintaining accurate progress documentation.
  • Building strong relationships and communicating regularly with families.
  • Leading parent-teacher conferences throughout the school year.
  • Maintaining classroom safety, organization, licensing compliance, and student ratios.
  • Assisting with curriculum development, school-wide events, workshops, and teacher training initiatives.
  • Serving as an active leader within our Mentor Program and professional development initiatives.
