About The Position

MSOSV is seeking a Montessori Teacher / Assistant Teacher (Primary Ages 3–6) who brings more heart, hustle, and genuine love for children than a long list of credentials. Requirements

  • 12+ ECE units (or the willingness to complete them — we’ll support you)
  • Genuine interest in Montessori education and a desire to become a future Primary Lead Guide

  • Reliability, professionalism, and a child-centered approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children ages 3–6 is preferred
  • Montessori experience is welcome but not required. We’re happy to train and mentor the right person who is passionate about learning and growing within the Montessori philosophy.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Guide in creating a calm, beautiful, and engaging Montessori environment for children ages 3–6
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, helping them develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning
  • Observe children’s development and contribute to classroom documentation
  • Model grace, courtesy, and respectful communication every day
  • Collaborate closely with a supportive team of senior educators
  • Take on increasing responsibilities as you grow toward becoming a Lead Guide
  • Learn from hands-on mentorship and professional development activity
