Montessori Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Guidepost Montessori is seeking warm, dependable substitute teachers to support mixed-age classrooms when full-time teachers are absent. This on-call, as-needed role supports multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6 and helps maintain a calm, engaging, nurturing learning environment. The position offers flexible hours and may provide an opportunity to progress to a full-time Assistant Teacher role. Formal Montessori training is not required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding. Requirements
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
- Valid state background check.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
- Passion for working with young children.
Nice To Haves
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
- Recent experience working with children ages 0–6.
Responsibilities
- Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
