About The Position

Spring Education Group is seeking a full-time, year-round Preschool Assistant Teacher to support in their Spanish Immersion classroom. The role involves working as part of a supportive team to foster a nurturing, caring, stimulating, and peaceful environment. Responsibilities include modeling positive behaviors, supporting group time and outdoor play, facilitating smooth transitions, preparing learning materials, assisting children with independence milestones, and supporting language development, social and emotional learning, and executive functioning skills. The goal is to make the learning environment a lovely and inviting place.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Minimum high school diploma
12 Early Childhood Education Units
Bilingual (Spanish) Required
Must successfully clear criminal background check
Previous teaching experience
Compliance with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position
Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language
Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend
Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction
