About The Position

Learn And Play Montessori Schools is seeking a full-time Montessori Lead Teacher for its Pleasanton Campus. The school’s Montessori + STEM™ curriculum promotes children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development and is designed to support each child’s unique needs. Teachers create a warm, patient, and understanding classroom environment that encourages children to learn, play, and grow. Building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues is an important part of supporting the school’s success.

Requirements

• 12 core ECE Units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that is consistent with each child’s unique needs.
