About The Position

Learn And Play Montessori Schools is hiring a full-time Montessori Lead Teacher at its Pleasanton campus. The school describes its approach as Montessori + STEM™, encouraging children to learn, play, and grow while supporting their social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development. Teachers create meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers and help make the school successful. The role includes implementing the curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and working with families, center staff, and leadership.

Requirements

• 12 core ECE units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
• Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
• Willingness to change diapers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Implement the Learn And Play Montessori School Montessori + STEM™ curriculum in a way that is consistent with each child’s unique needs.
