About The Position

BASIS San Antonio Primary Medical Center is seeking a Monitor for an immediate start. The Monitor supervises students during activities and structured or unstructured periods, including lunches, recesses, passing periods, parking duty, and before- and after-school programs such as Early Bird and Late Bird. The position also involves responding to emergencies, reporting concerns to school management, and providing front office support when applicable.

Requirements

• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background check.
• High school diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students to ensure their safety.
• Oversee student behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before- and after-school programs.
• Report unruly behavior to school management.
• Inform the supervisor about damage to school property.
• Respond urgently to emergency situations, including injuries and food allergies.
• Exercise sound judgment while carrying out duties.
• Assist with front office support as applicable.
• Maintain regular, full, and predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups during structured and unstructured times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
