About The Position
The incumbent is a member of the healthcare team whose role is to facilitate unit operations through order processing, requisition of services and patient procedures, maintaining accurate and complete patient charts and managing unit clerical supplies. The Monitor Technician may also assist in patient care as assigned.
Requirements
- One (1) year monitor tech experience (Exception: when staffing is experienced enough to support a trainee, applicants with a monitor tech certification and no experience will be considered).
- Basic Life Support from AHA.
- Medical terminology course or equivalent knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate unit operations through order processing.
- Requisition of services and patient procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient charts.
- Manage unit clerical supplies.
- Assist in patient care as assigned.
