As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. More about our team Join our team in a 24 bed unit staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (NAs), and monitor techs. This unit focuses on Pre & Post Cardiac Cath patients with 24 hr cardiac monitoring.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
Responsibilities
- Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
- Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.
- Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
- Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Tests equipment for proper working order.
- Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
