Requirements

• Medical terminology required
• Knowledge of computer software and hardware
• Proven organizational and positive communication skills
• Madera Community Hospital Basic Arrhythmia Exam course certification with score 80% or above.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program
• Graduate of Medical Office Technology Program
• Microsoft skills helpful
• Minimum one year Nursing Assistant work experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Observing the cardiac oscilloscope, documenting and mounting rhythm tracings
• Manning the nursing station
• Performing clerical and receptionist duties
• Requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments
• Assuring accuracy, flexibility and utilizing high organization skills and positive communication techniques when communicating with all individuals.
