About The Position

The Monitor Technician monitors, identifies, and reports cardiac rhythm patterns and changes, and performs electrocardiographs (EKGs). The role also facilitates maintenance of cardiac monitoring equipment, including SpaceLab and transmitters, and works as a team member to achieve business goals, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction. The technician practices within legal, ethical, and professional boundaries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Successful completion of an EKG recognition course or health care courses.
• Previous experience as a monitor technician and/or experience in a health care setting.
