About The Position
The Monitor Technician issues telemetry units, continuously monitors all telemetry patients, discontinues telemetry when ordered, and performs the clerical steps involved in the telemetry process. The position includes on-the-job training and attendance at a rhythm interpretation class, with testing to verify proficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- No prior work experience required.
- Complete on-the-job training and attend a rhythm interpretation class, with testing to verify proficiency.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills for documentation and interactions with patients, families, and staff, including conveying clear, concise instructions and receiving information to understand and make decisions.

- Previous experience with rhythm interpretation.
