About The Position
The Monitor Technician is responsible for continuously observing cardiac rhythms for patients requiring telemetry monitoring and reporting dysrhythmias to the appropriate individual. The estimated pay range is $16.00–$20.54 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma, certificate, GED, training, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience identifying various arrhythmias and/or Telemetry certification is required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Successful completion of an electrocardiogram course or relevant experience, and successful completion of the electrocardiogram monitoring exam within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support preferred.
