About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous cardiac monitoring in an acute care setting. The role requires accurate rhythm interpretation, timely identification of abnormalities, and effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- AHA BLS Certification
- EKG Certification
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and waveforms
- Observe patients continuously for cardiac abnormalities
- Document vital signs, rhythm changes, and cardiac data accurately
- Report critical findings promptly to clinical staff
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
