About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring a Monitor Technician. This is a Full-Time position with night shift hours. The position is located in Woodbridge, VA. The role involves observing, recognizing, interpreting, and documenting EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients to detect deviations from the patient's norm. The technician will promptly notify appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias, operate and utilize the monitoring system to its full capacity, and ensure the proper and safe functioning of the telemetry equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Completion of a monitor technician surveillance program/course required upon hire.
- Candidates who have not completed a monitor technician surveillance program must complete a certificate program within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities
