This position is at our Augusta facility. It is a night shift, twelve-hour shift role (7 pm - 7 am) as needed. The role involves continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, including measurement of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations. The technician will also troubleshoot monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and seek solutions. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, supplies, and telemetry transmitters in working condition, and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
