About The Position

The Molecular Biologist III plays a key role in advancing innovative therapies for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases by executing cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques. This position focuses on investigating disease mechanisms, evaluating potential therapeutic targets, and contributing to the development of novel treatment strategies through cutting-edge research and experimental analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular/Cell Biology, or closely related field
Minimum of 3 year(s) of experience in related research
Biology experience includes, but not limited to: mammalian cell culture, co-culture, transient and stable cell line generation
Written and verbal communication skills include the ability to communicate effectively in a group setting, with colleagues and clients
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines
Individual and Team work ethic
Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel
Attention to detail
Positive attitude, self-motivated, high level of engagement

Ability to train on all technical aspects in data analysis in the assigned laboratory

Responsibilities

mRNA isolation from cells and tissues
Various cell-based and biochemical in vitro assays
Execution of non-radioactive cell-based assays including, but not limited to the following: cell proliferation, cytokine secretion, reporter assays, ELISAs, western blots, MSD and PCR.
Immunostaining and/or immunohistochemical staining
Data and Imaging Analysis
Responsible for timely delivery & documentation of assay data in electronic notebooks
Participation in client meetings to provide process improvement recommendations.
Prepare a variety of equipment for testing using prescribed standards / specifications
Report safety, instrument and technical issues to the appropriate contacts.
Maintain supplies, lab cleanliness and analytical instrumentation, as required.
Prepare stock solutions, and keeping shelves and reagent stocked.
Maintain up to date knowledge of current methods and products to be tested.
Performs testing independently and with limited to no supervision from management.
Identify, troubleshoot and provide suggested technical solutions to clients and management.
Prepare written technical reports.
Perform basic data analysis as assigned
Assist with training
Follow the guidelines set forth with clients and in the Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures.
Comply with clients and Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Inc management systems in accordance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
Adhere to the requirements of the BV-CPS Quality System.
Performs testing independently with little or not guidance from management
Resolve escalated client issues.
Is a subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area and maintains up to date knowledge of current regulations / industry standards, method and protocols for products to be tested.
Interprets data from multiple sources and provides analysis to clients.
Identify, troubleshoot and solve escalated technical issues.
Provide enhanced guidance and technical training to internal staff.
Write or edit procedure as requested
Act in partnership with clients and management to support process improvement development
Assist with department testing in other areas, providing direction, as required
