About The Position

Provide advanced technical support to the Molding Engineering and Operations team. Complete strategic projects/implement new process utilizing root cause analysis and corrective action tools. Launch new and/or modified processes including: validation of process / development of work instructions / Training / Operation data collection. Lead efforts on top issues in the Molding operations including: Identification, tracking, analysis and action plan collaboration with the molding engineer. Participate/or lead cross-functional team-based improvement projects. Support plant-wide Tru-Improvement initiatives. Support plant-wide Safety Improvement initiative. May perform other duties as assigned. Must have the ability to support off shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Ability to obtain Fork Lift License
  • Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area
  • Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area
  • 2 / + yrs Previous Technical Processing Experience (Compression Molding Preferred)
  • 3 / + years of practical manufacturing experience and process improvement efforts
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Ergonomics
  • Practical understanding / use of statistical analytical tools
  • Project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage timelines and lead CI teams
  • Ability to lead / work in a cross functional team environment
  • Strong ability to drive change and continuously improvement
  • Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
