The Molding Process Technician performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering. This role involves setting up processing equipment, monitoring, auditing, and providing guidance to line operators. The technician also processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products, and provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Requirements

Associate’s degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training.
6 plus years of related experience.
Must be able to develop concepts and techniques and complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
Must be able to determine quality/testing methods/ procedures on new assignments.
Must be able to independently determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

Responsibilities

Performs set-up of processing equipment.
Monitors, audits and provide guidance to line operators.
Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
