Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to understand and complete simple one- or two-step instructions.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to use a computer proficiently.
  • 0-1 Years of Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
  • HS Degree or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Operate molding machine as indicated by Work Instructions, Lead Operator, Technician and/or Supervisor.
  • Inspect parts for cosmetic defects per Inspection Instruction Sheet.
  • Communicate molding problems to Technician, Supervisor or Lead Operator.
  • Communicate to other shifts any special instructions or quality issues.
  • Maintain clean work area and assist in keeping molding department clean and orderly.
  • Assist in relieving other operators for breaks if needed.
  • Assist in other duties, as needed. Such as annealing of parts and putting boxed and bagged parts away.
  • Enter production data into ERP system (PLEX)
