About The Position

This position operates and maintains injection-molding presses. The operator will visually inspect molded product to ensure conformance to requirements as specified per the quality inspection plan (QIP) and mold book. The role also involves packaging completed product per the packing process sheet and completing required paperwork to report production, scrap, downtime, problems, and issues related to equipment and labor reporting. Job examples include weight counting, filling totes, and labeling product to ensure count accuracy, as well as moving product from one process to the next and loading/unloading components into and out of molds (depending on machine automation). This role requires acquiring basic job skills and learning company policies and procedures, with generally little or no prior relevant training or work experience. Duties and tasks are routine, and the operator follows established procedures to accomplish tasks.
