About The Position
This is an entry-level position in the Molding Department, operating on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3pm to 11pm. The role involves material handling, product inspection, and reporting production data.
Requirements
- Ability to visually inspect parts for defects
Responsibilities
- Putting material in hoppers
- Handling / placing product on appropriate skids / trays as described in control plans
- Visually inspect parts for defects (excessive burrs, chips, etc…)
- Inspect parts as necessary per control plans
- Stop equipment immediately in the event that non-conforming product is being produced
- Notify supervisor of any problems
- Complete appropriate hold tags as necessary
- Place product in hold area if necessary
- Complete daily production reports as required
