About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Plastic Injection Molder. The role involves running production, monitoring and maintaining rate and quality, and operating related secondary equipment. The molder will need to understand and use job travelers, blueprints, engineering specifications, and SOPs, as well as operate all equipment controls and interfaces. Accurate record-keeping and documentation are essential. Effective communication with supervisors, setup technicians, quality assurance, and material handlers is required. Responsibilities also include material mixing, maintaining a clean work environment, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Involves frequent standing, reaching and pulling throughout the shift.
• Previous machine operating experience preferred or a mechanical aptitude and the ability to grasp machine operating and controls
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Efficient work habits and detail-oriented organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Run production, monitor and maintain rate and quality throughout the run
• Run related secondary equipment, where applicable
• Understand and use job travelers, blueprints, engineering specifications and SOP’s as required
• Understand and operate all equipment controls and operator interfaces
• Maintain accurate written records and keep appropriate documentation
• Communicate well with supervisor, setup technicians, quality assurance and material handlers
• Perform material mixing as required
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned
