About The Position

The Molder Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient production and assembly of components using injection molding and related equipment. This role supports product quality, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency by setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting molding machines and auxiliary equipment in a GMP/ISO-regulated manufacturing environment. This opportunity is open to qualified internal candidates interested in expanding their manufacturing skills and experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards
  • Basic math, measurement, and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing or molding experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
  • Perform required safety inspections on molding and auxiliary equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Report and support correction of safety or mechanical concerns
  • Set up, start up, and operate injection molding machines and related equipment
  • Perform grade changes and process adjustments to maintain product quality
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Assemble components into finished products according to work instructions
  • Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Comply with GMP, ISO, and quality system requirements
  • Verify materials, components, and work-in-process match work orders
  • Perform inspections for defects and conformance to specifications
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
  • Collaborate with quality team members to ensure product standards are met
  • Maintain proper handling, labeling, and staging of materials and finished goods
  • Ensure accurate completion of production records and logs
  • Support inventory counts, cycle counts, and material tracking
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas to prevent contamination
  • Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Minimize downtime through proactive monitoring and issue escalation
  • Ensure materials and supplies are available to support uninterrupted production
  • Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, safety, and warehouse teams
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and coworkers
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment
