About The Position

The Mold Venting Technician maintains and opens mold vents and inspects molds, presses, and work areas for hazards. The role requires using hand and power tools, setting up and inspecting a dry ice machine as needed, and operating a forklift to transport equipment as needed. Work is physically demanding and includes carrying up to 50 pounds and lifting up to 100 pounds. The position is performed in a non-climate-controlled environment with temperature swings, forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise; most work takes place in a high-heat environment. Safety procedures and guidelines must always be followed, including wearing hearing protection and steel-toe shoes. New hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes overnight hours and weekends. Comprehensive training is provided for physical tasks and machinery operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate machinery; training is provided.
