About The Position

EJ has an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Mold Utility. This role is responsible for safely preparing molds to make quality castings. EJ is a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications, and utility networks. Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and talk or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Requires the ability to successfully pass the respirator testing protocol and wear a respirator as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares molds/cores to make castings.
  • May drive industrial equipment to move materials.
  • Uses power and/or hand tools per work instruction database and associated information systems.
  • Uses computer to obtain and/or input information.
  • May be assigned to other duties within the department.
  • May assist in training others.
  • Must meet physical demands as stated below.
