About The Position

This position is responsible for the building of new fiberglass tooling masters and production tooling and for implementing changes to existing tooling. It is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of such molds.

Responsibilities

Use accepted methods to build new masters, mock ups, molds, and specialized splashes
Reshape and alter the dimensions of existing tooling masters and molds. This may require the use of precise measuring equipment such as laser aligners and bubble levels
Inspect molds for areas that are in need of maintenance or repair
Select the proper methods to complete work such as grinding, dremeling, sanding, glassing, spraying, resurfacing, reshaping, or reinforcing
Washing and waxing molds to make ready for production
Keep work area safe, clean, and hazard free
Other duties as assigned
